What he said
Doesn’t really matter
What she said
Only makes it sadder

What he said
Doesn’t really matter
What she said
Only makes it sadder

Once was Romeo and Juliet
At least they didn’t both end up dead
She would really bet
That his ‘friend’ is a lady in red

What he said
Doesn’t really matter
What she said
Only makes it sadder

What they did to each other
Had them run
To their mothers
Who said they better be done

What he said
Doesn’t really matter
What she said
Only makes it sadder

What she said pisses him off
What he said makes her scoff

this ballad is about how the two lovers betrayed each other back and forth and both knew about the others betrayal but when ever accused both denied it till eventually they couldn’t take it anymore and split apart
