   I

wait for shrouds

of darkness to dissipate

gentle, golden light seeps in,

this is when the fun begins

my eyes close slowly

let myself be swept up by a whispering wind

higher, higher i float into a brilliant, bright, blue dimension

cool, crisp clean gentle breezes ruffle my hair, rush past my body

immense, immeasurable is the amount of joy my senses feel,

this dreamy, glorious high can but only last so long;

and when it is time for me to come back,

my feet are slowly settled back onto the

unpredictable, unrelenting earth.

but a glowing, vibrant happiness

spreads contentedly throughout

my soul, and keeps me

dreaming for next time
