Business as Usual

Business as usual,
Tell a girl what she wants to hear, and she’ll rub you in all
The right ways.

Business as usual,
Tell a lie and it open doors for you
That truth couldn’t even copy keys for.

Business as usual,
From Monday to Monday, and Saturday to Sunday,
We’ll drink away the ironies and oxymorons over lunch.

Business as usual,
Those half truths, the may be truths, and the untruths will start
To spider into crow’s feet and old lady’s lines.

Business as usual,
The million dollar shoes walked next to the two dollar beggar.
The million dollar shoes won.

Business as usual,
Is not usual business.
