Sometimes I still cry at night
Sometimes I still cry at night
While searching for the light.
I’ve been looking everywhere,
but it feels like I’m running out of air.
My best friend says it’ll be okay,
Even though I feel a bit gray.
I try to find my place,
Without your good old embrace.
Why oh why did you do this to me?
I begged you so humbly on one knee!
My life fled in seconds baby don’t you see?
You meant everything to me.
Tears fall down my face,
As I try to chase,
Old memories fall into place,
As if I’m back in grace.
I thought we could work this out,
But now I’m filled with doubt.
You won’t take me back
And it just seems like we both seem to lack.
Why oh why did you do this to me?
I begged you so humbly on one knee!
My life fled in seconds baby don’t you see?
You meant everything to me.
