You tell me
What you see
Where this world is going to be
In the day
In the night
With no light
Out of sight
Predators in the shadows
You cant tell who they are
No we’re not far
From a future like this
Take a look around
Through city and town
Do you feel safe
I know I don’t
And I’m wondering why
Under a clear blue sky
I keep lookin over my shoulder
I shoulda told her
Not to go alone
Never be on your own
Keep someone by your side
Don’t get killed by pride
Cuz believe it
You see it
On the news
Or the radio
But you don’t heed it
Unless you see
But then its too late
No escape
Cuz they’re coming
Caught in a net
Oblivious until the end

I was just thinking about the world today and how dangerous it is becoming and I wonder how it will be for my own children some day, and their children, and so on.
