Millions of miles away
Are cries for the fallen,
Cries for all those hurting.
Under the dusty sky people pray,
For families that have been shaken
By a war which have left people breaking.
During the bloody afternoon day
Bodies and souls of men lay broken,
Surrounded by thousands of more that are choking,
On tears and hopelessness
As their comrades fall before their eyes
And their brothers scream in full surprise.
Somewhere far, far away
A man is aware of all that has befallen
Aware of all of the chaos and pain he is causing
But choosing to stay away from all of the madness he has started.
