It’s been a while since I last saw your face

Only a little less

Since I’ve heard your voice

Unless it was written out on a

wide ruled page

Stamped then sealed away

On a Sunday afternoon

“Hello there my darling

How you doing dearest

God you know I miss you

But I still love you more

Even more than yesterday

or the day before”

You say you’re still amazed

That I love you like I do

And that I’m still right here

Waiting for you

“I hope it’s worth the wait dear

you know it’s almost over

Are you going to

get tired

of waiting round for me?

Cause with each passing day

You’re always on my mind

and I still hope you feel the same way

as you did the day before”

And After I’ve read your letter twice

Soaked in every word

I most faithfully reply

I mark the day June fifth

And say…

“Hello there my darling

How you doing dearest

God you know I miss you

but I still love you more

Even more than yesterday

or the day before”

“Yes I’m still right here dear

I’m still waiting right here

You’re worth every single second

And I want you to know

With each passing day you’re

always on my mind

But I’m sorry no I don’t feel

the same way as I did

the day before

Cause with each passing moment

I miss you even stronger

And with each sealed up letter

you captivate my heart.

I Guess what I want to say is…

Hello there my darling

How you doing dearest

God you know I miss you

But I still love you more

I love you more than yesterday

Or the day before.”
