Beyond the path,
lay the rounds we made,
as two loves, entwined in the wrath,
of those who will fall,
to age and doubt,
to hit a force, a wall,
to destroy these beams,
these supports, to break these seams,
and to those who rise,
to live and love,
they will die, a guise?
memory lies, but do lies speak truth,
for in this world, to pull the tooth,
we forget, and to forget,
is to die, and walk to the gate.

Im not particularly religious myself, but I find it makes for some interesting writing. And who knows? The afterlife is something we cannot test for existence. Haha not yet, at least.
