in this land
of make believe
dead ends arise.
once again i wake
memories flooding in
as i open up my eyes.
in this land
of make believe
it slowly fades away.
the happiness of
night and moon
slowly fades to day.
no more make believe.
no more happiness
or joy.
no more lollipops
and sugary things,
no more toys.
please, my Love,
come out,
don't hide.
satisfy the emptiness
hidden
deep inside.
please, come here
and hold me.
i need you here to shine.
please, just lay
your hand on me
one last time
