My prison is my sanctuary
But nothing I have done wrong
The key to the door is my sanity
Has come back to me in any way
The walls are sculpted irony
So I guess I'm safe for another beat
The floor is wit, tried and true
I expect back lash for every strum
The bed is made of well-worn trust
But Fate is only just teasing me
Frayed and brackish with misuse
My prison is my sanctuary
Will you ever tread here once more?

If you read this straight through, it won't make much sense. It is two separate poems; just read every other line.
