As I lay within
the space
of your arms
my fingertips wander,
searchingly,
upon your resting face.

They scan
across your brow,
golden brown
and as soft as
a mother's gentle kiss.

The hair relaxing,
each strand
a part of you
in which
I never wish
to part with.

I guess all I can really say about this poem is that it is about someone who I obviously really care about and admire. He inspires me to better myself and to believe that I can do whatever I put my mind to, and for that I am forever eternally grateful. I love you, and this is for you as a thank you for all that you do that makes my life so great.
