(When alive)
my intentions are with the earth,
my mind over the matter of the sun
for the air is more than my thoughts
and the moon more than my emotions.
Only cleansed of filth by bathing in the
pure dirt
grotesquely forcing myself upward
to become as one sort of
whole
but constantly ricocheting in between
with needles human flaws.

The things that form here must stay here,
breathe here, kill here,
die here, lay here.
Weaving grace with destructive concepts and ideas.
Sewing stitches of consciousness with simplicity.

(When buried)
my intentions are with the earth
my mind over the matter of the sun
for the air is more than my thoughts
and the moon more than my emotions.

I will be the earth, and the earth will be me.

The author's comments:
I wrote this around 5am in my backyard after having a very odd dream about Adam and Eve in space. Writing has always been a very cathartic experience for me. Nearly every situation I'm in I feel the need to write and explore about. I'll be sitting with friends, and I can't help but constantly be concocting up sentences and ideas and words in my mind. It's never ending! I have my own little world going on inside of me constantly. It's a wonderful escape and place of self discovery.
