Make Me Make Believe

Mirror, mirror,
there's no beauty in,
a broken heart.

Because all I've ever known,
is the world,
I can't depart.

I just want to leave,
close the door on,
this world falling apart.

Starting to learn that,
breaking,
makes you stronger,
but when happens when,
you can't take it any longer?

Even if I dream of love,
even if I don't
believe,
I'll give up and shove,
my dreams,
to the end of the sea.

And it's impossible,
to make
my life start,
when I'm living,
with a
broken heart.

Those times when I'm walking,
with no place to go,
I've been searching,
for something I don't know.

Walking away,
never looked so good,
when you get used to,
loneliness,
the girl you used to be,
is dearly missed.

So carefree,
so full of this light,
waiting for no prince,
but for a knight.

Even if I dream of love,
even if I don't
believe,
I'll give up and shove,
my dreams,
to the end of the sea.

And it's impossible,
to make
my life start,
when I'm living,
with a
broken heart.

Remember that time when,
mom said,
he'll come someday.

Remember that red rose
he left on,
your doorstep that day.

Was I just dreaming?
I just gave up,
stopped believing,
Was I wrong?

Even if he comes today,
even if I can't,
believe,
I hope he'll stay,
and convince me,
it's not make believe.

And it's impossible,
to open the door,
when you don't have
the key,
when I'm living,
with a broken heart.

Nice job. Definitely a song I'd listen to.
