People fly before my eyes
All the people who never had a voice
Never had the chance to speak
Never knew love, kindness, and mercy
Never had a life that they could genuinely call their own
I think about the people who's lives have been shattered by
War
Starvation
Cruelty
Killing
Inhumanity
And I wonder how children get up
to face impossible struggles
While I can barely get up to go to school
