God is with His Children

God is with His Children
I know that this is true,
He watches over me
And He watches over you;
He knows when you laugh and cry
He hears each ones quiet sighs,
I know that He is right near by
God is with His children.
God is with His children
He knows them very well,
He even saved my sinful soul
From falling into hell.
He'll help you in the good times,
He'll help you in the bad,
He comforts when your feeling sad;
This thought makes me very glad!
God is with His children.
God is with His children
He knows them all by name,
And when it comes for them to die
Their souls He will reclaim.
Then as we stand before His throne
His face we all shall see;
And oh, what a glorious day
that shall be!
when God is with His Children.

Thank you all for your comments! Joanna, you are so talented at writing, and drawing!! I sent it in with seperate verse's but it didn't come on like that for some reason. Thank you for your comment, I really love it when people comment!! Have a great day!!

I admire your faith. Your poem shows just how strong it is in a quiet sort of way. It is very good. It would be easier to read if you seperated it into verses, I think. That way one could get more of a feel for the flow and pattern of your poem. But yes, as Sara said, it's beautiful. Thank-you so much for taking the time to comment on my drawing. I never thought I was very good at drawing portraits but your encouragement means so much to me.

I think this is beautiful. And don't worry about it not being good, it is! Sometimes first poems are some of the best. :) God bless.
