born and raised in waterbury
this is my hometown that i say varies
from the clock tower to the schools
this is where i lived, and this is where i grew
from riding a bike, to getting is fist fights
this small city shaped me, taught me, and found me love
ive seen many brids from blue jays to cardinals to doves
waterbury is boring you may say
but to me its passion, understanding, and even the pay
it got me jobs, education and a life
but im sorry i must move on i must live
saying goodbye is like gettin cut from a knife
this is my home this is my town but i continue to thrive
i want to become a doctor, so i must go
but i will be back and i will show
i wont forget what i learned
i wont forget this is the life ive earned
through my hardwork and studies
ive grown matured and found buddies
i know right from wrong and left from right
but i fear i might loose my sight
but i know i must continue on
so this is for you and mom
ive come along way and know where ima be burried
ill never forget i come from WATERBURY

I wrote this poem because everyone is always talking bad about waterbury but yet i love it here, and i just wanted for people to know why i love it so much
