Hi
Her word to enters my ears
The one that rings, ever clearer
With each passing day,
That word rejuvenated in my mind
I care for that word
As if I loved it with all my heart
But my heart is taken
By the girl who uttered that word to me
She doesn’t know
What kinds of prayers
Are enclosed
In my heart
Yet, I know that fate will not listen
To my prayers, for her eyes to glisten with care
The way mine do every time I stare
At the girl my heart has chosen
Each turn I take
Her face appears in my mind
It is amazing
What a lone person can do to your soul
Both bliss and joy
Both misery and woe
Hand and hand they go
My heart lacks the first, for I know
She passes by, still every day
Yet she will never know or share
The feelings bestowed in my heart
For her
