My best friend is a monster
That lives in my head
Eats what I eat
And keeps me up in bed.
He only knows wrong
doesn't wish to learn right
He keeps the madness
Burning so bright.
Him, I am frightened by
but him, I wish to keep.
Still, my wish remains
That he would just let me sleep.
