Can I hold you in my arms?
And pretend that it's okay?
Can I look you in your eyes,
While you take my breath away?
And just for a moment,
Everything is great.
My world is perfect,
When I see your face.
And when I hear you sing,
My heart skips a beat.
If it was possible,
I wish you'd love him.
In my dreams I see your face,
And I hear your voice, beautiful words.
On the phone I fail to say what's inside,
But talking to you eases the hurt.
And now that I've written this,
And said what I said...
I think it's time to say,
The last thing in my head...
It's just one sentence,
But I swear it's true.
Just three simple words,
Just: I love you.
