She has Irish Fairy Tales
And Voices On The Wind
On her bookshelf
Right next to Yeats

She’s not a princess.
She’s a New Yorker,
She doesn’t believe in perfection.
But
She’s found her faerie tale love.
The Brooklyn Mermaid
Whose Mother fears the sea,
Who never believed in love,
Found it.
