we've never seen a sun so bright
struggling to make everything right
i couldn't ask for anything more
than a key to your front door
taking advantage of this phase
laying out the next day
directions carved into my hand
wondering where we'll land

The author's comments:
i've changed this poem alot of times before i was finally satisfied with it. i'm not sure what this one's about. plain confusion seems like the idea.
