In the dark alone I am
My mind lost in this void of black
Heart beat racing faster looking for a sign
Of a place with others where I am
There is none
I can't see them
I don't hear them
Nor feel their presence with me
In a full room I am alone and apart
If a person is next to me I can't see
My mind doesn't see
If a person speaks to me I can't hear them
My mind doesn't respond to their voice
In this emptiness of loss
My life is nothing but a lost
Full of life I once was
Forever more I just give up on the will to find
Just one person , alone, like me in their mind
