To catch time in your fist
To hold the stars in your palm
To have eyes so deep
They are empty pools of black…

A poor little soldier boy
Stands amongst the tides of a great river
A poor little soldier boy
Who wears nothing but rags
A poor little soldier boy
Who carries upon his shoulders a great weapon…

War inflicts great destruction on the living
Man wreaks havoc on the mortal world
Time is the creation of chaos
And in its endlessness
It is the ultimate annihilation
Man’s enemy is so much more than he comprehends…

A forlorn little orphan girl
Stands amongst the crowds of a great city
A forlorn little orphan girl
Who wears nothing but rags
A forlorn little orphan girl
Who carries with her a great weapon

Look beyond the corner in which you tremble
From invented threats and unreal fears
Open your blind eyes
And realize that you stare at an eternal horizon
An endless road
Scorched with flames…

A blind old homeless man
Stands amongst the sounds of a great world
A blind old homeless man
Who wears nothing but rags
A blind old homeless man
Whose only possession is a great weapon

The past, present, future
They are only figments of a material world
Time has no beginning or end
Time is mankind’s ultimate enemy
It stands on the boundaries of our territory
With a great and powerful army
But we turn our heads and close our eyes
So that we cannot face our greatest fear…

A poor little soldier boy
And a forlorn little orphan girl
And a blind old homeless man
They stand among mankind
Wearing only rags
Yet they possess the most powerful weapon of all
In their deep, sad eyes
They see time and it’s great mass
But do not cower at the feet of limitation…
