Favorite Quote:
"The woods are lovely, dark and deep, but I have promises to keep, and miles to go before I sleep, and miles to go before I sleep."

Time
carves across my back
in acrid runnels, and I
lower my head from the heavens
to take a sip.

This poem is my view of time- cutting, carving against you. You must look away from the eternal and bend your head down to see reality if you really want to live, to take part in the passage of time.
