Hallucination Nation starting its confusion take over
make us over, fit us into the mold of society.
Propriety, deleteing us, defeating us; taking over our mind.
Post the adds up on the wall,
Push us up to watch us fall,
Neve close enough to reach it
But not far enough, we taste it.
Perfect is a lie that none of us defy,
All of us, oh yeah, we try, whether we live it or we die.
Changing who we are just to see if we're a star,
no one sees its in themselves, fame is just too far.
Nothing in normal good enough, gotta reach; climb up.
This totem pole of stupid, shows just what we're made of,
Insanity and lies, we're all meant for the flies,
yet everyone denies that we all have to die.
Keep searching for the answers keep looking up above.
That man up there could save us, but instead he sends us love.
He tells us all to wait, but for most of us, too late.
Innosence is overrated but mostly we're all jaded, so we blame it all on fate.

So where do we all go?
Does it end or does flow?
Are we the fish within the brook,
or are we the lives that it had took?
Are we the lost or are we found,
Do we live or do we drown?

Control all around us telling what they expect from us,
Do we give in or do we rust and end up in the dust,
These questions we keep asking do they help or start condeming,
Does anything make sense or do we all just keep on thrashing?
Just because we believe does that mean that we don't bleed?
If we all just keep on fighting, does that mean that we don't need?
We say we stand for love, Happiness fits like a glove,
its too tight, can't pass it on, yet we all look, push, and tug.
We all know how to want things, we all know lust.
When will it be time that we teach our kids to love?
Its impossible to do things, we claim we don't have time.
We go to work, school, thats fine, but we all just lose our minds.
So what is more important to you, do you really know what it does to you?
Running, f***ing, thinking, its all something we do, but when was last time you said, "Hey, I love you?"
You ask yourself to feel, but you make yourself numb; you reel.
You make yourself dumb just so you don't feel.
So half of us hate everyone the other half loves everything,
When do we find the middle ground, when do we find "me?"

So where do we all go?
Does it end or does flow?
Are we the fish within the brook,
or are we the lives that it had took?
Are we the lost or are we found,
Do we live or do we drown?

We keep searching for our life line wondering when we start our lifetime,
Its as soon as you start living, so stop wasting all this time.
We keep searching when we're found, we keep looking for solid ground.
We can stand up on our own, we don't have to lay and drown.
Stop hoping for a better tomorrow, Make it better now.
Stop hiding from the moment, get up and say it loud.
I refuse to be a victem, I refuse to follow on.
This path is total destruction, and that's not what I want.
Follow up, find your leader, find a better meter.
Measure life by your standards, not in millimeters
Nickle, dime, Nickle, dime, money is what you make it;
"things are imporant" no, they're refferent, they end complicating it.
Soon enough we'll finish this, and our lives will all be done,
but the questions and this cycle can't ever be redone.
Remember that the next time you're picking up a gun,
life is what you make it, but when its done, its done.

So where do we all go?
Does it end or does flow?
Are we the fish within the brook,
or are we the lives that it had took?
Are we the lost or are we found,
Do we live or do we drown?
Do we decide whats in our lives,
or are we victems filled with lies?

It bothers me how detached we sometimes become from our world and our current surroundings.
