A Million Times Over
You can’t tell
The wheat fields and
Crystalline sky before you
From a day at the beach
And I can’t tell
Your gleaming eyes before me
From the azure ocean
Perhaps you’re a little crazy
And perhaps I am too
But what does it matter
If you’re the one
I’d die for, even if I have
Not the vaguest clue
If you would too?
A million times over
I’ve made a fool of myself
In front of you
And a million times over
You’ve done the same to me too
But I know you’re something special
And I hope with everything I have that
You think the same
I recall
That one time
You mixed up scissors with a knife
And I’m sure you can recollect
When I confused
Death with life
Perhaps you’re a little crazy
And perhaps I am too
But what does it matter
If you’re the one
I’d die for, even if I have
Not the vaguest clue
If you would too?
A million times over
I’ve made a fool of myself
In front of you
And a million times over
You’ve done the same to me too
But I know you’re something special
And I hope with everything I have that
You think the same
A million times over
I’ve made a fool of myself
In front of you
And a million times over
You’ve done the same to me too
But I know you’re something special
And I hope with everything I have that
You think the same
