Pick me a tulip for those lost at war
Pick me a rose to love me for sure
Pick me a lily and bury the dead
Pick me an iris for all the tears that were shed
Pick me an orchid and your actions will show
Pick me a forget-me-not and never let go.

I love it, very beautiful. Short and sweet, but yet far from simple b/c of the deeper message that's sort of hidden, but hinted at. I love it! Please come check out some of my work and let me know what you think! Thanks so much, and again, great job!

Fantasgtic, Sweet and a good point. You did a good job it's hard to write a short poem and get your piont through. Check out my poen called "I Am Here"
