Never Forget Me
Never forget
It was just yesterday you were here
Laughing; crying; joking, with tears
Loving and holding me like you did
Almost like the days of Pre k
Acting childish, inn mature,
Goofing off we would play
Like two best friends
Inseparable till the end
The end came too quick
Well I thought so
You had to leave me
I had to let you go
Leaving at 14
Wasn’t easy to do
Neither was hearing
I would never see you
Except for Sunday
When I wear my black dress
And look down in the coffin
At the face I’ll never forget
RIP Larry
