By the gates of heaven she stood,
So peaceful and serene,
She smelt daisies and roses,
Glimpsed a paradise shed never seen,

By the gates of heaven she stood,
Her face alight with happiness,
About to enter to a new world,
She stopped once,
looked back and waved goodbye,
Promised to stay in her loved ones heart,
Promised to keep looking,
To keep an eye,

She then opened the gates of heaven ,
A glowing angel in the vast sky ,
How we wish we could stand right next to her ,
We want to soar up and fly,
