When I get older
I want a little fame
I want to be an author
So people know my name.

I'm not that good, yet
But don't worry I will be
I'm still quite young
But I don't want your sympathy.

I want people to look
Stare as I walk by
To point and say 'That's her!'
As I pretend to be shy.

Maybe I cant be a writer
There's only a handful out there
I just want a person
To listen to me share.

I dump out my feelings
on this open blank book
It takes it all in
And no one has to look.

No, I dont plan what I write
It all just comes out
Like I cant retain those words
So a page is the normal route.

I'm not like the others
Nope, I'm just me
I just hope someone out there
Will help me become who I want to be.

This is exactly how I feel! I feel unaprecitated as a writer and I dream of the day people will respect me as one. I hope for fame too, I hope to be known as a someone. This really captures my feelings exactly! Wonderful!
