In a world of torment and grief,
Where your burdens you cannot heave,
The pressure is too much to cope,
Turn your face to the light of hope.

The bills are piling up so high,
Sometimes it’s hard to see the sky,
Needed raise, but the boss says nope,
Turn your face to the light of hope.

The car is beyond broken down,
The fridge can’t preserve a beef pound,

Your child drinks and is into dope,
Turn your face to the light of hope.

In a world of torment and grief,
Turn your face to the light of hope.
