Scarred
Tears stream down my face,
feeling that I’ve lost my way,
wondering if the next day will come,
as I put the knife to my arm,
is this the best way?
I don’t need an answer,
its been there all along.
Chorus:
I’ve found another way to cope,
something that can give me hope,
the darkness form the past has lifted,
but always,
will the thoughts be in my mind,
and the scars on my hand.
At last, the rain has cleared,
the sun has finally come out,
She is as big and beautiful as ever,
slowly bringing a smile to my face,
this is where I say,
I know I’m going to be okay.
Chorus:
I’ve found another way to cope,
something that can give me hope,
the darkness form the past has lifted,
but always,
will the thoughts be in my mind,
and the scars on my hand.
