Times today are filled with hate,
and life is wearing thin.
Most inhabitants have lost
the spark of joy within
But this is not the truth for all...
Structures of hope are crushed with war,
and violence reigns throughout.
Trees of love and life are lost,
shriveled with ominous drought.
Yet some are still standing tall.
