I sit there each day watching you have fun
I sit there each day pretending I’m happy
I’m a better actress than any will ever know
The rage of betrayal

The anger of unanswered questions
These feelings have passed
Passed to leave a lingering love
Love and sadness
Sadness and hurt
Hurt, a pain in the heart
I never thought I would truly love you
But I do
And as I sit here
I feel you stab a knife through my heart
You
Never really saw me
Never really knew me
