Forget You
Forget You
I was suppose to forget you
Never think of you ever again
But every time I see that picture,
Read that book, or hear that song
I can’t help but remember you
I was suppose to forget you
Act like you never even existed
But just the sound of your name
Rips a hole in my chest
You swore it would be a clean break
That the healing would be easy
But now I’m not just broken, I’m shattered
I was suppose to forget you
But now you’re all I can remember.
