Dispassionate, I top the cliff.
Dispassionate, I jump the ship.
Momentous occasions I’m assured,
But I can’t be bothered to feel a thing.
I’m on autopilot, cruising the sea with my destination set,
And thus not enjoying the journey.
Where’s the mystery, where’s the surprise, Life?
Life has become everything I expect and as a result,
Nothing I care for.
Surprise me.
Show me something new.
Life, I beseech you, make yourself worth living.
