Silence MAG

By Anonymous

A series of abysmal images
Observed through parted fingers
Horrified eyes and gapingmouths
On the faces surrounding me in the dark ...

Systematic starvation of
A rapedgeneration
Has left stench of death lingering
Across pristine Germancountryside

Sallow skin draped across protruding hip bones
Bodies infested withtyphus-laden lice
Hollow shallow eyes gazing longingly at death
Corpses naked prostrated inendless fields

Callous executioners forced to bear the executed
Flaccid bodies tumblingto join their brothers
Innumerable
Mass graves of anonymity

Bathhouses become deathchambers
The unsuspecting breathe the toxic vapor
Bodies consolidated
By means of massconflagration

... Images lingering
Haunted visages in the hallway
No dialogue
Forthere are no words
