I Remember...

i remember we walked down the beach
and played dolls and
watched cartoons until we fell asleep
and drank chocolate milk and
waited for the rain to pass to play in the mud and
would tell each other scary stories
and dressed up the same, to say were twins and
no one told me we were going to grow up
and each one take our own separate paths.
