I hear them
Whispering and snickering.
At my foolish blunder.
Why did I trust you?
Why did you deceive me?
Voices
Telling me that I was wrong.
I know this, thank you.
Please leave me alone.
GO AWAY.
Bother someone else.
These voices won’t stop.
Am I insane?
Was he?
Whispers and snickers dying,
Fading.
Gone.
Just like him.
