I never knew it would hurt so much
Like a knife stabbing me
When I felt your touch
You said you were always there
You said you would always care
And the pain inside you
Would make you shout
You really hurt me
But that’s not what it’s all about
We had fun together
Throughout the day
But you messed up my mind
With all the bad things you’d say
My brain was a storm
Happy and sad, my heart was torn
As time goes by and by
I’d ran out of tears to cry
My heart was torn in two
I’m a storm with no sea
Don’t you see what you’re doing?
