I’m trapped
In this lonely room
It wasn’t like this before
When she was alive
I had my freedom
Freedom to do whatever I liked
Whenever I wanted
Wherever.
Not anymore
Now it’s different
I do as I am told
I am no longer a free man
Due to my own mistake
Mistake of taking her life
I have begun to feel regret
Ever since I’ve been trapped
Now I wish that she was alive
I’m trapped
In this lonely room
It wasn’t like this before
When she was alive.

This is a story that happened to my uncle, i was inspired to write it after reading another piece of poetry.
