A passing shadow
A summer breeze
Bearing a dandelion seed
But this seed won't take root
It follows the wind
Just follow the wind

A fleeting swallow
Sleek and blue
All across the sky it flew
No place to go no where to be
It followed the wind
Just follow the wind

A stubborn girl
With a mind of her own
A dozen different ways is torn
She leaves her senses and follows her heart
And the wind
She follows the wind
Just follow the wind

The author's comments:
I was going for something more childish here, with the rhythm, rhyme pattern and metaphors. It's different than what I usually do, but I figured I should try broadening my horizons. Tell me if you think I should go back to my old style, please!
