Running
My feet pound against the sidewalk
Trying to find help
You’d think that’d be easy
In NYC
But not so
If you run past
With a killer trailing you
Others avoid you
Don’t expect help
They go about their daily lives
The don’t want to get involved
New Yorkers have no conscience
Or heart
The see, but do not act
Is chivalry dead?
Am I about to be?
You run and run,
You’re out of breath
But your running as if
Your life depends on it
Because it does
You try to outrun him but
You both stay the same distance
From each other
You dash into a concert crowd
In Central Park
It delays him,
But not for long
He’ll catch up
He’s no amateur
This is a professional assassin
He’s trained to kill
You get out of the crowd
No one else should get hurt
Because you’re gutless
You run in the direction
Of the rose garden
Where you know your true love awaits
Can you reach him?
Or will the last thing you see
Be the blue Manhattan sky?
The thought of love
Gives you a burst of speed
And you race to your love’s side
Just as the murderer shoots
You both
Romeo and Juliet
Neither can live
Without the other

I can't remember it clearly, but it went something like this:

"The past is the past, the future is the furture. But now, now is like a gift, which is why it is called present."

that was AWESOME!!!! maybe my favorite! I just read down to the bottom like nothing cought my eye... genious!!! (sp)
