A moment

Laying in the cool black sand,
while the heat scorches my back.
Laughing away while the,
ocean water washes across my feet.
letting the fresh breezy air,
pull me into a world known to me.
Losing myself in the wondrous world
hoping that this moment will last forever.
lifting myself out carefully,
from the distant glorious world.
Lightheartedly admitting to myself, that my world was only,
a slight escape from reality.
