Where I'm From
Where I’m From Poem
I’m from the country and city. From trees that are vibrant, bright and full of life. From tall buildings and bright lights.
I’m from homemade pizza and Vermont. From land that stretches on and on and doesn’t seem to stop.
I’m from North Carolina where we used to play in the cove for hours. From bright-eyed friends playing hopscotch and tag.
I’m from cinnamon, apple pies, and well-rounded cakes. From friends that always look out for each other.
I’m from my friends and family who will love me forever.
