An oasis of bliss
Calling me slowly into the dark abyss
If you could hear me now
Would you save me?

The fallen angel, pain and desire in his touch
Forcing me to cry out in pain
What is this disdain?
This pain is too much
I’m falling… I’m falling…

Suddenly, I am awake
There’s not much more that I can take
The flames lick my hands
My arms
My shoulders
My legs
My feet
The fire expands
Engulfing everything but him,
The angel with black wings
I’m dying… I’m dying…

If you could hear me now
Would you save me?

I don't know what inspired me to write this. I was sitting on the computer, looking up examples for spanish poems for my home work and suddenly, this poem popped into my head. I'm really proud of this poem because I've never been very good at writing poetry.
