let it burn, suffering teaches the soul; let it grow, love nourishes the heart.

you wormed your way inside,
waking part of me for the ride,
i never felt this way before,
until i felt you at my hearts door.
why cant you look my way,
and see that im hear to stay,
i would never leave your side,
and my love would never again hide.
without you i will close myself,
and put my heart high on a shelf,
never to be touched again,
for if one true love i cant win,
then mylifesno longer worth living,
so to you all my love im giving.

thank you, it was something off the top of my head, as most of my poetry is, and it was pretty much love at first sight, and it was wonderful.  thank you

Very nice poem, I love the idea and it was well written. I liked your word usage. Awesome! (by the way, thanks for the comments).
