Jericho

Too Late, I’ve seen the stars
Come crashing down to my Earth where I belong
The wind whispers sweet nothings in these empty ears of mine
They tell me stories and keep me company
When I’m not alive

Something always calls my name again
Bringing me back into my reality end
A cherished sorrow to bleed for me
I never understood it was meant to be.

Circles of different walls surround my prison escape now
I never meant for these walls to come down
My Jericho, my Jericho, has come down

I built up places of sand and stone
And walk around my palace that I don’t know
Buried in my satisfaction or fear
The blurred line between never really clear

Something always calls me back again
Freely escaping with the ways of the wind
And I slip back into the case unfold
The covering of which still hides my soul

Circles of different walls surround my prison escape now
I never meant for these walls to come down
My Jericho, my Jericho, has come down

These broken words can hide no more
Ill speak of truths of which were sewn
My ones can die and my blood run dry
The wake of the new morning, my new dawn

Wow, that was absolutely stunning. Poetry like that.. I don't see much of on this site, and I don't have enough to skills to write one myself, but it's that kind, your kind, that really inspire me. The intricate wording and so many meanings and details... It's very very awesome! (:
