I was sitting on a bench outside my house...
thinking like the smart mouse...
Suddenly a big sound so loud
that almost reaches the mount...

Oh dear, It made me feel so scared,
I wanted to hide but I didn't dare...
I wanted to see this with my eyes so bare...
and wanted to know what was happening here!

So I walked, then ran so fast
to the center of the city,I must!
then I heard another big blast
that made many lives past...

Oh my god! this is not true, please tell me! this is not true!
"Damn, you are a christian!" you must die! you're fool!
"Damn, you are a muslim!" You have to die ! you're foe!
I heard one said"stop that! we are thesame in race you two!

It's so terrifying like the thunder volts,
when they killed each other without halt...
then tears fell down from my eyes that day
and i felt my spirit had gone astray

Mindanao, please have pity on us...
we are one, not made to clash!
We are human and not faunas...
we are here that should love and should hush...

The mother earth doesn't like this...
the father above is crying co'z we are blithe!
what the hell are we doing here in this planet,
when we kill each other underneath the mist!

Do you think our country will prosper?
Because of this absolute nonsense warfare,
our fellow men are in great danger...
we will suffer with an enormous hunger!

Gun, bombs and knives- it should be hidden beneath the bloody land!
Angry heart, swollen eyes and destructed mind-should be taught to smile in hand...
We should work together at once
and clean our land with a glance
to the children so innocent at heart...
we shouldn't waste the time and be smart!

After 4 hours asleep, I suddenly realized it's just a dream...
but my dream is what we are seeing, in my country and every stream...

prayer alone will not help
we should act and we should work!
To make our country at peace...
we have to decide and start to make!
we have to end this
and let us begin to take
a very new deck...
