Fly far away

you shut your eyes,
wings broken,your dreams have died,
laying there about to cry,
the world you knew soared away,
when you lept from the roof to fly away,
shattered arm, and mind and soul the fall to the ground that had gone so slow,
laying there ready to die,
because why live in a world where I cannot fly.
